Castle Combe - excellent racing, friendly paddock, great fun, but HARD work!

rear wheel drive is tough but excellent fun - managed to bring the car home in one piece after some great racing

but there were just too many crashes to be competitive

3 'Clean' trouble-free races 

Very slippery.. found a fuel leak late into weekend, 3 races but too many smashes, its not racing its bumper cars!.. 

but - I'll be back at Donington..

Back up north to Croft circuit - after last years DNF from engine failure Dawn was hoping for better results..  but Another 'bash' at the hairpin of the first lap meant 20 minutes driving with broken steering and more damage...

During the Saturday night paddock dinner, Dawn held a raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK to help boost her Race For Life Sponsorship - The prize of a ScaleXtric was kindly donated by Total Track/Mini Challenge.  Racers and Supporters from The Mini Challenge and the Radicals generously bought tickets or donated cash and raised nearly £250!
