I began racing relatively late in life, having had no previous experience of motorsport either through friends or family, I entered the Formula Woman Televised Competition for 2006. I received training by their excellent team of instructors, including some of the 2004 winners plus Tim Harvey, Graeme Glew and Tom Onslow-Cole.

We drove Caterham 7's in 5 races organised by FW before the final rounds of the competition at a gruelling boot camp in July 2006. After various challenges I came 30th out of over 4000 applicants (which I don't think is too bad!) but only 16 were named as the Competition racers, so I missed out.... however..

Through contacts and friends made in FW, I was invited to race with Fiesta - in the BRSCC www.dees.co.uk Fiesta Championship, at Anglesey, Brands and Oulton Park. I hired a race-prepared car from Daniels Motorsport.

I was offered a place in the team of Advent Motorsport. I raced 3 times in 2006 in The Mini Challenge, at Croft, Donington Park and the legendary Spa Francorchamps in Belgium! I completed my First Full season in the Mini Challenge 2007 finishing a creditable 8th in Class, 18th overall out of 46 and 3rd in the ladies challenge.

In 2008 I continued racing with Advent in Mini Challenge Finishing 9th in class, and joint 2nd in Ladies Challenge. Unfortunately I was unable to climb up the points table due to too many incidents out of my control. The funding ran out and I had to finish racing the mini.

Now its onwards to another challenge - I have bought my own 1990 Hot Hatch! A Golf Gti, in bright red!

It will be 'spannered' and transported by my own mechanic and my first season went really well in 2009 - 2010 was even better,

Donington Park - Finally ! First time this season, had 3 clear races, no damage. 8th, 8th, 7th	Brands Hatch - Another double finisher, no damage and good racing, this is more like it! August Bank Holiday	Rockingham Finale triple header, all clean finishes, half spin in the wet - finished joint points 2nd in girls cup - September 27th
